Well I guess this isnt a really great photo and not even taken on a real camera. It was taken on my mac. But I wanted to share something with people. I did my first Time Trial Ride on my road bike on Wednesday this week (I messed up and left the heart rate monitor on for the rest of the trip but just pay attention to the first half of the chart.) and it was super fun! I finished in 18:35 which i feel is pretty good for my first time trail. Also first of all I am not a athlete yet and have done very little road riding so I feel like this is something I have accomplished that I am proud of.
The main reason being I was able to get my heart rate up to 199-198ish, which blew my mind. I wanted to try and get to like 200 but I think my heart would have exploded! GAH!
Anyways, thanks to my buddy kory for lending me the Heart rate monitor and did the TT with me. :)
Heart rate measurement
The top half of this graph shows the baby's heart rate over a period of about 20 minutes. It goes up when he/she moves around or kicks. Hayley had to press a button when she felt a movement. The little inverted "tick" marks show where this happened.
The fluctuation with heart-rate corresponding to movement is apprently a good sign.
The midwife said the second half of the graph (when there was less kicking) looked like the baby was sleeping.
